Shorai Edge has been manufactured with energy class A+++ in heating and A++ in cooling, which leads to a large energy saving. High efficiency for best savings but where they still provide optimal performance. The unit provides comfortable heat in homes up to 180 m2 and cools up to 65 m2.

Toshiba's Shorai Edge has several great features to give you the best and most efficient experience possible. With the unit's efficiency, it keeps you warm even when the outdoor temperature drops as low as -25°C. In addition to spreading lovely heat or cooling cold in your home, it also does it in absolute silence to make it even more comfortable for you. The device is equipped with the silent operation function to reduce the noise level. With an indoor part with a sound level down to 19 dB(A), Shorai Edge is one of the quietest heat pumps on the market.

Smart functions for unlimited comfort

Shorai Edge 35 comes with Toshiba's unique wood stove function, which means that it can also spread heat from the fireplace or other nearby heat sources. Should the compressor be switched off, the heat pump's fan on the indoor part continues to blow at low or preselected speed. When you use the cooling mode, you can choose to activate the Hada Care Flow function for extra smart distribution of the cold air. With the device's smart system, it also restarts after a possible power cut.

Durable design packed with features

Despite Shorai Edge 35's compact and elegant design, this heat pump from Toshiba creates a lovely indoor climate all year round. The air source heat pump is equipped with several functions.

Maintenance heat

8°C (5-13°C) maintenance heat. Perfect operating mode if you travel away during cold periods.

Manual defrost

In extreme weather conditions, if necessary, the outdoor unit can be manually defrosted by pressing the SET button on the remote control for 5 seconds.

WiFi compatible

Shorai Edge is fully compatible with Toshiba WiFi module which you can choose to purchase as an accessory. Then you can have complete control and access to your air source heat pump through your phone or tablet even if you are not at home.

Silent operation

Quiet operation for both outdoor unit and indoor unit. Sound reduction function of the outdoor unit with 6 dB(A) is suitable to use at night if you live in a noise-sensitive area. For the indoor unit, you can press the FAN button on the remote control to adjust the fan speed and select silent operation.

Store your favorite operating mode

SHORAI Edge also has other standard functions on the remote control. Use the PRESET function to store your favorite operating mode.
